Tex is really a switch hitting reincarnation of Delgado. Honestly, he mashes like Delgado did in his youth with the Blue Jays. My guess is that Minaya will speak to the agents for Ibanez and Garland before the end of the meetings but I doubt either will sign anywhere at the meeetings. If I had to guess Minaya is trying hard to open up discussions to move Hielman, Castillo and one of our catchers (probably schnieder) but will not move any of them until well after the meetings...I could be wrong though...he did get burned waiting so long with all of his chips trying to figure out the Santana deal so maybe he will try to make some moves sooner rather than later.
