You have to be mentally tough in this game as well as physically tough. (And the Rays had a better record than 06's Tigers too-but that doesn't matter since Mets missed the WS despite the easier road...) I remember a game where Santana threw one high and hard at Tim Hudson and Hudson made a small move toward the mound and Johan flinched. For example, he's said in public a few times that he believes he'll pitch no-hitters and win Cy Young awards during his career. They won the WS fair and square and deserve the accolades, but it shouldn't come at the expense of the Mets.
