its a nice spin to the logo the matt posted…
but i didnt really like that logo at all.
yours was a bit better…
i like one with an actual stadium which is something i think they will release soon-

i liked matts idea of a fan created patch, and being a freshmen marketing student at ithaca college with some graphic design experiance, i though id give it a try.

the patch i made can be seen at:

although im not an artist, i am skilled at photoshop, and other desktop publishing programs. the idea of the patch was to use citi field branding logo (which i dont like by the way), and use a silhouette of the distinct arches that make up the rotunda, to create a cool looking patch to commemorate the new stadium.

i am open to feed back, feel free to comment, and as always…

not to be so worked up, but like matt said this thing is beyond uninspirational.

THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT(imo)THE LAMEST ARTICLE OF CLOTHING I HAVE EVER SEEN ON ANY SPORTS TEAM. THAT INCLUDES THE BIGS, COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL, EVEN LITTLE LEAGUES. AND NOT JUST BASEBALL.

GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK AT PUT METS ON IT. JUST FREAKIN METS. I HONESTLY DONT CARE WHO IS WEARING IT, BUT IT MAKES US LIKE THAT PATHETIC BORING OTHER TEAM IN NEW YORK, WHILE THE YANKEES PATCH HAS EVERYONE OOING AND AAHING.

THIS (as some met fans would say) IS A BLOW TO THE METSTICLES. AN EXTREMELY POINTLESS ONE AT THAT.

I HATE THIS RIDONKULOUS SIDEWAYS RECTANGLE, AND TO SLANT THE FREAKING LETTERS IS FREAKING MORONIC. FREAKING FREAKING FREAKING FREAKING.

We should have contest (just between us fans), to make a kick tuchus logo. Then we should decide upon the best one and then send it to the club.
