Manny doesn't pitch. If the Mets sign Lowe we can't really complain about the offseason as it relates to the starting pitchers. The revamped bullpen should hopefully make the starters look better than they are. A guy like Putz can come into the middle of an inning and whiff a couple of guys to save someone else's behind. Hopefully, Manuel uses Putz that way when appropriate. What does Manny have to do with starting pitchers?

At least Sheets comes with some upside. They should at least be examining his medical reports concerning the "strain" that ended his season.
