I don’t mean to be pessimistic. I actually think with the above said we can be good with 2 or 3 more pieces. I’m actually pretty optimistic about the team.

Delgado, Wright, and Church…

I see where you’re coming from with Delgado, but he’s very questionable. Wright is way overrated defensively. Church is decent, but he’s no Vlad in his heyday.

Yes, you do need to think before you post.

You are way over valuing Wright’s defense. He gave up more runs than league avg last year.
Church prevented 2 more runs than league average, that is most certainly NOT well above average.

Schneider’s AVG was league average, his OBP was 8 points above league avg (essentially avg.) but his SLG was well below league average (46 points).

I won’t go into details on each individual in the pen, because this has been done in countless posts.
