By Mike Nichols - Feb 18, 2009 11:15 am

According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, Mets RHP Brian Stokes injured his right hamstring yesterday.

However, Stokes downplayed the severity to Rubin, saying he didn’t hear a ‘pop or anything.’

Rubin also notes on why J.J. Putz will leave camp next week and the impressive vertical jump of David Wright.

So if Stokes is really injured, then Livan might make it on the team as the long man.
