Different sport, but when i was watching the Suns Celts game yesterday, and they showed a live look at the Suns locker room, and the coach (Gentry) was trying to motivate his players, they could not have possibly been less interested in a word he was saying, and if you go to ESPN you can see how that game turned out. Manuel seems to know that the best way to motivate is thru constant acknowledgement and then that one thing that works for men no matter what, tweaking their pride just a little to get them fired up enough to prove you wrong. Im not so sure about that.
