I don’t think Matt is sulking at all. This a community and family, though an often immature one. If Matt wants to share his problems (and in this case, it’s in the form of hate mail) with his family, then it’s his right. He’s our Dad when it comes to this blog, and we, as his children, should be a little sympathetic sometimes.

This comes off very egotistical. Matt isn’t the only blogger who gets this kind of crap, but you don’t see them posting it. It comes with the territory.

I find a certain level of humor in the folks that think there’s a SNY/Metsblog conspiracy that exists only to filter the Mets news that you and I are allowed to read. What is this, 1943 Germany? If you have ever gotten your feelings hurt because Matt hasn’t taken his time to respond to your idiotic email, then please enroll yourself in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and find yourself a real, flesh bearing, human to pal around with…

Ok here is my question, sorry if this offends.

Why did you even post this Matt? Is it Met news? These are emails that you don’t even have to respond to. If you chose to, great. But why do we need to read them?
This almost seems like you are playing a little poor me with the commenters. You run a very successful blog and do not need to answer to ANY single blogger and the bloggers do not really need to read your hate mail.
