The guide isn’t meant to give my opinion on CF necessarily as much as it is to advise fans who are attending. I wrote it because as an avid Mets fan, I found myself wandering around the ballpark at times, often confused as to the location of things without any idea as to where I was going. It’s to help out the average fan and make their trip to Citi Field as positive as possible. As things change during the season, I’ll update it, but it’s not meant to be definitive. It’s meant to be a helpful tool.

When I went to the Georgetown/St John’s game, they were not up and running at the time. I did visit the concourse during the 4/4 exhibition game and the TV’s were not running then either.

I’ve had enough of these “Guides to Citi Field.” The ballpark hasn’t even hosted a true major league game yet and every blogger this side of Philly has given us some sort of definitive opinion on the facility. Give it some time.

I think I read where not all big screen TVs were on during those two Red Sox games (for whatever reason) so maybe they didn’t realize they were there?

like sny said, what a difference 189 days make – love this team, has been one of the few that has been optimistic all offseason – this goes to show and i will say it all year – i would rather have putz and krod than manny any day of the week

it doesnt matter how you start the game its how you finish – this was a game that they lost last year – i know this not only from memory but from the way my stomach began to drop as the innings went by, just waiting for a heartbreaking way to blow the lead

In case you read the Wright stuff blog, They’re wrong about the concourse, although there aren’t any TVs, there is a jumbo screen with all the information for the game facing the lines, so you won’t miss a beat.

in all of 2008, johan won:

1 game when he left the game with a 1-run lead,
1 game when he left the game tied, and
1 game when he pitched less than 6 innings.

i’d like to figure out the last time a mets starter pitched less than 6 innings, left with a 1-run lead (or less) and still got the W. bet it’s been a while.
