The New York Post notes how the Mets are
second only to the Yankees on the Forbes list in terms of value, at $912 million – 13 percent above the $824 million last year.
…great, so will ticket prices become a little better now…
Also in the Post, Long Island Ducks Manager Gary Carter, says he is done lobbying for a managerial position. “I wasn’t trying to step on anyone’s toes or undermine anyone. My intentions were sincere, certainly not malicious by any means. I’ve learned from
it. It won’t happen again. I’ll tell you that”, said Carter.
…i love carter, and it looks like he’s finally becoming a bit more media savvy…
Since Dwight Gooden has seemingly been everywhere lately, which is great to see, here’s more from him in a Q&A on YouTube where Doc answers questions from Brooklyn Met Fan, such as, “What is your favorite piece of memorabilia you have?”
Lastly, Metstradamus is looking for any omen to signify the awakening of the Mets, and is asking for your help.
…i don’t know where he comes up with this stuff, but i’m glad he does…

Cocaine spoon?
(too easy)
Lmao…thanks toasty..needed that
The forbes valuation includes the anticipated cash inflow the mets are expecting this year from pricier seats. Judging by how empty it has been so far, I’m pretty sure the franchise is overvalued
A couple of thoughts on Adam’s video:
1. Why is Jose Reyes looking over Doc’s shoulder?
2. Why in god’s name is Adam wearing a “Bad News Bears” jersey?
I think the value is overrated, just like the team on the field.
Actually the first glove Doc used was a light brown Rawlings glove he used throughout the 1984 season.
By 1986, he starting using a dark blue Spalding glove. He used it in the series. Can’t be the same glove.
