Why not? Pitchers are getting the same amount of starts per season as Glavine / Maddux / Clemens / Johnson ever did. No reason why there won’t be more 300-game winners in the future (unless teams go to a six-man rotation).

Manny? Beltran was a more valuable player than Manny last year, and would be again this year, suspension or no.

But Albert is another story. Beltran is having a huge month, but Pujols is pretty close, and his numbers are not far off his career average!
