Tonight’s Game:

  • The Mets (26-20, 15-8 Home) begin a three-game series against the Marlins (22-26, 13-12 Road) tonight at Citi Field, starting at 7:10 p.m.

On The Mound:

  • RHP Mike Pelfrey (4-1, 4.31 ERA) starts for the Mets. Pelfrey allowed two runs and struck out a season-high six over 7.0 IP in his last start on May 23 versus the Red Sox. Pelfrey is 1-5 with a 6.12 ERA in his career versus the Marlins.
  • LHP Sean West (0-0, 3.60 ERA) takes the hill for the Marlins. In his Major League debut on May 23 versus the Rays, West allowed two runs over 5.0 IP. This is West’s first career start versus the Mets.
