Minors: Last Night in the Minor Leagues

This morning, at Mets Minor League Blog, Toby Hyde recaps all of yesterday’s Mets minor-league action, including strong performances from RHP Jeurys Familia, who allowed only one run in over six innings of work, and SS Wilmer Flores who went 3-4 with a double in a win for Single-A Savannah.
RHP Nelson Figueroa went eight strong innings for Buffalo yesterday, allowing only one run and striking out eight.
In 13 starts this season, Familia is 5-4 with a 3.08 ERA.
Over his last ten games, Flores is 14-38 for a .389 average and has seen his average raise 20 points over that span. He is now hitting .273
