The Mets lineup is so depleted right now, one bat will not make that much of a difference. Plus all GMs know what Omar is up against, so they will ask for the moon for any player. No sense in trading what's left of the farm for one bat that may end up not making much of a difference anyway. The next two weeks will really show us what these Mets are made of. It may be too early to tell but if last night's win is any indication, this ragtag bunch could all challenge David Eckstein for the title of Scrappiest Player. I agree with Metstradamus.
