ESPN.com is reporting that Philadelphia first baseman Ryan Howard could return to the lineup on Tuesday after being hospitalized over the weekend with acute sinusitis.
According to MLB.com, Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar was scratched from Monday’s lineup due to a strained right hip flexor.
…This is the same injury that caused Escobar to miss almost a week in May.
