I have to agree with Ed Ryan. Mike Lamb and especially Cory Sullivan make a lot of sense right now on this team, they are veterans that know how to handle this situation better than FMart and perhaps Murphy, who could be pressing with so much on their shoulders to perform. A better time for FMart to develop is with the stars performing around him, and Sullivan can play. Sullivan is a slam dunk to me — let FMart play in AAA every day. Lamb on the other hand is not such a blatant call, since Murphy’s defense at 1b has improved and his hitting may be better than Lamb’s at this point in his career. AReyes for Valdez doesn’t matter to me.
