Buzz: Nationals are not Trading Dunn
In an interview with the Washington Post, Nationals GM Mike Rizzo said, “We are not trading Adam Dunn. That’s as definitive as I can be.”
…you mean, it isn’t as simple as just ‘going and getting dunn,’ like i keep hearing from radio hosts and columnists, as if dunn is just sitting on a street corner with his bag packed waiting for a ride north… heh, imagine that…
…i said it a few weeks ago, but it never really made sense to me why the Nationals would trade dunn, unless it was an offer they couldn’t refuse… as much as he is what the Mets need, he’s also very much what the Nationals need, and they have him, already, and under contract for one more year…
