Lets all get one thing straight…Omar will of course pretend as though they would be in first place had the Mets not encountered all of these errors. Guess what — given the consistent 5,6,7, 11 runs that the mets pitching staff have been giving up — they would still be losing these games. Omar has no idea how to put a team together and I truthfully can’t think of one good move that he has made (signings don’t count — I could have signed Johan Santana). OMAR MUST BE FIRED.

Ah, I didn’t compare anything to the Kazmir trade. Never would. I said my hesitance goes back to the Kazmir trade — that ever since that I’ve been weary on every trade the Mets made (except for Santana.) Believe me, I realize there’s a difference.

Please dont compare the Kazmir trade to anything. That was one of the all time worse trades in baseball history… The Mets traded at 1st round draft pick, a left who throws 96 mph for a #4 starter… In this case we would be getting the best pitcher in baseball (besides Santana) and a very solid outfielder..
