I was at Shea for his last game as a Met and it was a valiant performance. He struggled at times but struck out 9 and kept us in it. He got a great ovation when he was pulled and it was a great moment. He gave us some headaches over the years, but it will really bother me the first time I see him in that Candy Striper uniform. This is only one of the three best pitchers of our generation. I know he's old, but there are plenty of old pitchers winning games in baseball these days.
