How about we just enjoy what Pagan did today and refrain from overanalyzing his strengths and weaknesses. For once, we won a game…let’s just savor that.

well a win is nice but lets not get too carried away…pagan has always been a 4th OFer at best…saying he could of been part of the core is kinda jumping the gun a bit…i mean he had a good game and has had some good games…but hes not nearly consistent enough to ever be a core member….and as far as the complimentary player on a team full of stars….theres a reason hes been a backup/career minor leaguer for a reason…

I’m not trying to bash pagan, hes been solid when hes played…but im not gunna go around saying he coulda been a core member just because he came up through the system…once beltran returns and either sheff or a player from a trade is in LF…pagan will either be 4th OFer or back in the minors/traded….or knowing his luck will be on the DL again

I think he has been a bit overlooked, but when he has been on the field, he has delivered with the glove and bat. He was the guy who hit the ball in which Church forgot to touch third, and who can forget the catch he made that ultimately ended his season last year. Looking to next year, Omar really needs to make a place for him (Cora too). Easy to forget, but Pagan could have been a part if the core too, coming up thru the system as a teammate of Wright. He may be a late bloomer, but he certainly provides as a complimentary player on a team of stars

thank god we got out of that but honestly this nonsense of krod not being able to go more than 1 inning is getting ridiculous this is a tight must win game that your ace just pitched his guts out for and you almost blow it bc krod isnt allowed to get 4 outs.

Can someone else tell me why Santana wasn’t pitching? Did he throw 250 pitches the first 7 innings?

Doesn’t Jerry want to win any more games this year, or are they shooting for next year’s draft?
