It's not like Sheff has to DH every day; he could play the OF every 3rd or 4th game or so. Sheff has power and he's cheap. I think you're underestimating the market for a player like that. If you get a low level prospect for Sheff YOUR GETTING SOMETHING. if he plays out the end of the year....the mets get nothing. At least get something. You gave him a 2nd chance, he proved he can still swing the bat. Let some team who's close and needs a DH in the AL give you something for him..... Same with Livan and every other Vet who won't be apart of this team next season. Matt,
