If Ollie had been able to get the ground ball out, maybe some of the walks may not have been as damaging but it seems like the Mets are the ones that always hit into the DP's.

Santos's two passed balls did not help either.

Why does anyone listen to a word Beltran says in the first place?

He's famous for staying quiet until its time to say something stupid only to follow it up by not making himself available to play.

Yeah, he's someone to inspire everyone

Last night was a team loss, there is no "he" in team any more than there is an "I" in team.

As a team they failed to score runs and as a team they allowed the Nats to score, end of story.

Um yes he would have. Ollie has given us 6 innings in the last 2 starts and given up 3 and 4 runs in each. We should have won those 2 games but because we have NO OFFENSE we couldnt.

Nothing to do with Ollie.

Can we get off of Ollie and focus on how this team is bad??? I mean seriously look at Ollies number since he has been back.

5 IP 2ER 4 Hits 7 walks
6 IP 3ER 5 Hits 4 walks
6 IP 4ER 4 Hits 6 walks

Does are not horrible. The walks are bad but he is not the reason we are losing. All 3 of those games were winnable.

what’s the record for most walks given up?: Amos Rusie in 1890 for the NY Giants: 289

most pop ups dropped out of mitt? Fred Clarke had 49 fielding errors in the outfield in 1895

most outs due to not stepping on the base? dunno

most injured players- real and imaginary? dunno

least home runs in a season? 1908 Chi White Sox only hit 3

most lineups used by a manager? don't know

most dumb fans who put up with this crap!!!!! 5,511,466 = Mets attendance since 2006 (not including 2009)

I don't think Minaya sounded arrogant, he is just unable to finish a thought while speaking without jumping to five other things, none of which make sense nor connect to each other. It is difficult to listen to him, thats for sure...

I don't think you need to be the best public speaker to be a GM, but you probably should be able to finish a sentence. It may be because he is nervous on TV and wants to come across as intelligent and in control, something that I myself would have a hard time doing knowing that there are so many people watching but he should be used to it by now.
