Are these the types of moves that the front office are looking to make???? Come on…lol
FINALLY the move I’ve been waiting for! Our season is now!
I”m guessing this is to replace Brandon Knight…. But all i have to say is WHY?
why not.. Buffalo needed an extra starter because they let Knight sign a contract in Korea.
I don’t even know if he should be in AAA…
1-6, 4.69 ERA, and a 1.76 whip in the IL.
Change of scenery move I suppose. The AAA pitching staff is mostly a sad mess now that Niese and Knight aren’t there anymore.
jeez him and Angel Berroa on the same team? World Series here we come!!!
Pettyjohn is no doubt the missing piece needed to complete the Halladay trade.
this is just to show we are buyers..
i dont know how, but it is…
Please. Bart Hubbuch has lobby for a job in the Buffalo rotation for a while now.
That’s all I’m saying.
who’s next? Adam Seuss?
Omar does love his crappy shot pitchers.
I heard Omar took his pants off at Nobu last night.
Can I be GM?
Wow. I can’t believe he actually made this move. this solidifies our rotation.
we have a petty omar, might as well have a pettyjohn as well…
lmao at all the above comments
a few days back the Mets picked up “RHP Chris Mason, who the Rays released on July 16th… The 2005 2nd round pick was 3-5 with a 6.24 ERA for the AA Montgomery Biscuits in the Southern League. After earning the Biscuits Pitcher of the Year award in 2007, when he was 15-4 with a 2.57 ERA, Mason was just 3-10 with a 6.21 ERA in AAA Durham. …in 2006, Mason threw a sinker that was mostly 88-89, but would touch 90 on occaision, a short slider and a change up.”
Toby Hyde quoted.
Not sure why Pettyjohn is news and Mason isn’t…
Mason threw for St. Lucie, and is likely on his way to AA where they lack pitching as well.
