I love the mets and I love seeing the Mets as a competitive team but I cannot stand seeing any of these athletes harmed just to appease fans or for the sake of selling tickets. At this point I'd simply enjoy seeing some of the raw talent that we have in the minors in September. Sadly, this team has had such bad luck that we may have a weak club for several years. It's too bad we had so many DL players. Selling for the future would have been a smart play. Completely agree. At this point I’d simply enjoy seeing some of the raw talent that we have in the minors in September.

Not the case at all.
