News: Takahashi Up, Misch Down

The Mets have called up reliever Ken Takahashi and have sent Pat Misch back to Triple-A Buffalo.

Takahashi was 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA before being sent back to Triple-A, and was last seen June 21 against Tampa Bay.

Yes, but one threw 4 innings yesterday and the other hasn’t pitched since Thursday.

With all of these questionable and short starters they will need to ‘taxi squad’ some long relievers until Sept 1st…
