The main thing Pelfrey needs to learn is how to pitch from the stretch, and not get so p.o.’d when guys get on base. Not “mechanics” as much as “headchanics.” (new word?).

Again, he’s a young guy who is worth the wait.

Dan Warthen, along with the whole coaching staff, needs to be replaced for not doing their job in molding the younger Mets into the best they can be.

Perey had the same 2008-to-2009 regression that Maine and Perez had from 2007-2008.

Sad thing is there is no relatively young pitcher for the Mets to severely over-value this offseason.

Not that Sunday matters, but wouldn’t Figueroa be on turn? Maine, Misch, and Redding in between? What am I missing?

Can’t wait to see who they give the start to, since I am attending that game.

Stoner would be OK, but if it is lance broadway, I may just get up and leave. Or go in the bar and not come out until he does, which would likely only amount to 1 or 2 beers.

this needs to be the off season where he gets POd at himself, and really works like a dog to become what he has the talent to be. A pitching plan, an out pitch besides his FB, and an attitude should be on the to-do list!
