That comment says it all about this organization. Reactive instead of proactive.

Thanks for that expert assessment of the team Jerry. While you’re at it, throw a few more coaches under the bus.

It is not the BALLPARK, it is the HITTERS and Mets pitchers. Look at the opposition numbers, THEY have no problem HITTING HR at New Shea-The Mets home and road HR # are pretty much the same-81 Hr allowed at home, 77 on the road-They have HIT 49 at hiome and 46 on the road-That aint the PARK, that is the personnel

That was a completely gratuitous comment by Jerry. Without knowing anyone inside the Mets organization, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Jerry wasn’t privy to some inside info about Reyes suffering a permanent loss in speed. That’s just Jerry being Jerry. It’s a ridiculous comment to make. Who knows how Reyes will be after surgery. It’s been a long, frustrating season and maybe I’m more irritable about the team but I’ve just had enough of him. He’s been making similar comments all season. Time for a change.

At last we have a blueprint!
A) Reyes will never be the same
B) The field is great
C) Wright must make adjustments

I really think that all this talk about DW is trash. He was the last man standing, and as such, being surrounded by second and third string players, pitchers could pitch him harder than they could before. That is alot of pressure on a player. When we have a full “real” team back on the field again, DW will be back and THE MONSTER WILL BE OUT OF THE CAGE.
