The Twins are owned by a billionaire who has more money than the Wilpons and Steinbrenners he just doesn't want to spend any of it. I feel sorry for the Twins fans but not the organization. I believe he didn't even put in a dime for the new stadium which is crazy. Besides if they had Santana they probably make it go 4 games since the Yankees would just spank the other starters. The Mets finished 88 and 74 without him, 1 game out of first. Noone possibly could have thought that the twins had a better shot than the Mets to go to the playoffs.
