I’m Reading: Decline in Home Runs, Dodgers, 3000 Hits, Thank You

by Michael Baron on October 13th, 2009 at 1:34 pm

Kerel Cooper from OntheBlack.com illustrates the Mets decline in home runs since 2006 and offers his opinion on why this has happened, and he also found some Mets Halloween goodies which can be viewed here.

Adam, the Brooklyn Met Fan, is rooting for the Dodgers to beat the Phillies in the National League Championship Series.

Jon from Mets by the Numbers points out some of the accomplishments from 2009, including Carlos Beltran‘s hit against Ricky Nolasco on September 25 being the 3000th hit from a player wearing number 15.

Caryn over at Metsgrrl feels that Mets fans deserve a “thank you for being fans” from the team, much like what the Twins gave their fans.

In addition, every afternoon at 1:35 I post a “Mets Photo of the Day” on Twitter, featuring images from the 2009 season as well as other Mets pictures I have taken over the years.

Finally, don’t forget that SNY will be taping the third season of Beer Money at the Village Pourhouse in New York City during October and November.

To find dates and locations, and to maybe get on air, answer questions and win some money, check out the list here, on SNY.TV.
