If his price tag goes way way down, then they should look into him. The asking price is that of an established arm, and Chapman is the opposite of that. I think the price tag will come down. No way he gets the money he is asking for. Not eventhe Yankees will pay this guy his $60M. Theo is not dumb enough to do that either. Anyone calling the Mets cheap for passing on this asking price does not know much about player contract value. You know I am happy. If his price tag goes way way down, then they should look into him. I don't think the mets are all the way out of the running. I think they said 60 million no thanks. If the number goes down then you could see the mets get back involved.
