Please show us a direct quote from these so called “experts.” Everyone in the media AND other GM’s say our minor league system is weak. Also, I was not implying a true platoon which means one would sit on the bench. I was trying to say Tex and Gonzo would switch up at DH and 1B. That and even the Yankees can't match the Red Sox prospect for prospect. Why,because the Red Sox have a GM with a clue about how to build and maintain a farm system......wish we did! That to go along with Jon Neise, and Probably F-Mart as the 2 guys who are near or MLB readiness. You'd be looking at just spit balling.
