I usually defend the veterans, but the only time I want to see Melvin Mora play in Citi Field….. is for old timers day. Sure, 10 years later, the Bordick deal ended up looking bad. No need to “make up for it” with a bad free agent signing. Mora would just be Tatis #2. In fact Tatis is probably better for the role because he has more versatility in this stage of their careers.
