This still mean they are in the race for Holliday but are less likely for the Angels to get him.

Wow … as much as I have eased off on really disliking Abreu lately, I’m somewhat shocked they signed him to what is probably a 3 year deal. Considering he’s going to be 36 next year, are they sure his 15 homerun power isn’t going to fade along with his defense over the next few?

Good. The Angels could still go after Holliday as they may not resign Guerrero, but at least this means at least the Mets won’t be getting Abreu. He choked in the playoffs and his defense is shoddy.
