By Michael Baron - Nov 6, 2009 8:02 am

Carlos Delgado and Brian Schneider have filed for free agency, according to Adam Rubin of the Daily News.

Other notables to file for free agency so far are Orlando Hudson, John Lackey, Randy Wolf, Mark De Rosa, and Matt Holliday, and Jason Bay.

Former teams have until November 20 to negotiate exclusively with these players, after which they can begin negotiating with any other club.

For the complete list, check out Rubin’s post.

I wouldn’t mind De Rosa. He could be a righty platoon mate for Murph plus spell the corner OF and 3B. He could basically be the 2010 Tatis just better.

De Rosa isn’t going to sign a contract to be a super sub. he’s going to sign to be a full time player, probably at 2nd base where he has the most value.

I woudn’t mind him at 2nd base if castillo is shipped out of town.

Sin Holliday, Lackey and Derosa. Dump castillo however possible. Oh wait this is the Mets, sorry for a second I thought I rooted for a team that wanted to win, cared about their fans, and understood what a good team looks like.
