		<description>Technically he wont. Because next winter, the market of teams that could keep him would be significantly smaller. 

Its one thing for a team like the Marlins to get him, play him for 1.5 years and trade him at the break for a bunch of talent in return (less than they gave up, but at least they had a chance to compete)....but its another thing for the market to be only big teams who have to trade for him and pay him a huge contract. You will definitely get less in return. 

Though, that less may still be more appealing to the Padres because of the revenue and support they will get for keeping AGon for 1 more year. 

Its a business, plain and simple. What ever gives you more green is what they will do.</description>

		<description>if we get holliday, I think we should consider bringing back delgado for one more year (of course he has to be healthy). I know some mets fans dont want him back, but the guy is really a power hitter who still has a presence at the plate.
