We basically played .500 ball for a week, yet it was the best week I have ever spent. If the poster were a Mets fan for real, and not just a blogger, he probably would also have a tremendous time as everyone I know who went, would probably go again. In fact, I made so many new friends there, that we stay in touch and have regular get-togethers years after the camp. Does he have any scouting background? Any talent evaluation background? It seems to me his only qualification is that his daddy bought a baseball team, and his is allowed to run it now. As a Knicks fan, this is eerily similar to the Dolan situation. Please Jeff, take a step back, sign the checks, and let the baseball people do their thing.
