Most of those whining here impatiently understand very little of this business. There is no reason for him to rush and there is no reason for us to rush at this point. Just because some Mets fans are impatient as a result of last year's awful season doesn't mean everyone is going to change the way business is done to make them happy. Even if Bay was a lifelong Mets fan, it would still make sense for him to hold out until he feels he is getting the best deal he could. People need to chill, big time.
