The Marlins are close to moving their June series against the Mets to Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
In 2002 and 2003, the Expos played 45 games in San Juan, seven of which were against the Mets.
…not that one thing has anything to do with the other, but i recall the Mets not fairing well in those seven games, where it seemed nearly impossible to score a run… if Citi Field is a Grand Canyon, as some reports have been known to describe it, than Hiram Bithorn Stadium is Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet…
Robert Tuchman of MSG.com is asking readers to vote on the Top 10 New York Sports Teams of the last Decade.
…umm, yeah, i wish the 2002 Mets were in the World Series, but, sadly, robert, they were not… i’m looking at you, Fran Healy… instead, they finished in last place, during what was Bobby Valentine’s last season…
…i’m thinking MSG meant to write the 2006 Mets, who won the NL East, but who also didn’t get to the World Series… man, i’m so glad that decade is over…

In the next few days, I will be adding other features to the toolbar as well, such as a Random Post feature and links to other blogs.
In the event you don’t find this toolbar useful, or you feel it is in the way, you can minimize it using the arrows on the right.
