I think Maine might have a lower ERA than that and two more wins, Perez I'd agree with, Pelf i'd say probably somewhere around there with the ERA maybe 3.6 - 4.0

Now trade him.Pelfrey is said to be a head case,Maine isn't to far behind.Every game he seems to have meltdown inning. So the question is. How do the Mets correct the deamons in the heads of Pelfrey,Maine and Perez.

You're delusional if you think that a lifetime 4+ ERA pitcher, in the NL, is a #2. You're also delusional for thinking that the Marlins have a better staff because of Johnson, and what, Nolasco?
And don't get me started on the Phillies. After Halladay they are just as suspect, if not moreso than the Mets. They don't win because of pitching.

Maine went 16-10 in '07 before the injuries. What are you basing your statement on?

Don't you wish sometimes, Omar would just go on Metsblog , read some of our comments, including the one you have just posted. him saying " hey that's not a bad idea. Let me call the reds and see what they want for arroyo, hey why not try for Brandon Phillips to. I wonder if Omar has ever been on Metsblog even once to just read Matt's posts or our comments.
