well if he is not a pitcher yet then imagine how goodhe will be when he becomes one…..well healthy john maine has good stuff…..this is the guy who almost threw a perftect game for the mets in 07…..if he could do that and he is still considered a thrower then i cant wait until he learns to pitch for real
I think that if he just focuses on the fundamentals then he will lower his pitch counts in games….I think his inablility to go deep into games is what seperates him from being a true pitcher
Yea i dont agree with this story….Maine is definitely a pitcher. Maybe too much of a pitcher, he trys to make the perfect pitch all the time and it drives up his pitch count.
