I will be at Tradition Field next Saturday, February 20, with my fiancee photographing and live blogging from Spring Training.

I have received numerous emails asking whether workouts are open to the public, and yes you may attend free of charge.
Workouts typically run from about 9:00 – 12:00 or 12:30.
Spring workouts are located behind Tradition Field, and the entrance to the back fields is towards the northern-most entrance on Peacock Boulevard.

Jayson Stark of ESPN.com says free-agent infielder Felipe Lopez has fired his agent, Scott Boras.
…man, Boras has really had a rough go of it lately, stemming from the issues with Alex Rodriguez, to Johnny Damon, and now this…he did manage to swing $36 million out of the Mets for Oliver Perez though…ugh…
Stark says Lopez was disgruntled because he was still without a team as Spring Training approaches, and he has decided to have the Beverly Hills Sports Council represent him.
…i was never really a fan of Bobby…he was never as good as advertised and i always thought he looked kind of lazy on the mound…i was at that game 4 against the Giants in 2000 and i remember saying to my friend it was the finest pitching performance i had ever witnessed in person, and to this day, i feel the same way…i remember the hit Jeff Kent got, and it was JUST over the glove of Robin Ventura at third base…the way Jones was that day, there is no doubt in my mind he would have thrown a no-hitter if Ventura didn’t wreck his ankle with the White Sox years earlier…
