Note: Live Blogging, I’m off to St. Lucie
I’m leaving New York for Port St. Lucie this morning, where I will be at Mets spring training through March 6.
Starting tomorrow morning, I’m going to try something new here on MetsBlog.com, essentially live-blogging, and lifestreaming, my experience in camp and around town – and so you’ll see smaller, quicker posts, making in-the-moment observations about the team, camp and town, including links to photos and video I will be taking with my camera phone.
In addition, I have the ability to stream live video to the blog, with just a three-second delay. I’m hoping to use this for the occasional live batting practice, bullpen session and simulated game… so, keep an eye the blog, as I will likely give a 15–minute heads up before a video goes live.
As usual, I will have my Nikon D40, with which I will take higher-quality photographs – I will also be filming interviews, daily diaries, and other video content for SNY.TV – all of which I will post at the end of the day.
Lastly, all of this content is sortable and able to viewed using the tabs at the top of this page.
And with that… I’m off to Florida… Let’s Go METS.
