Later, between innings, Manuel said to Ray Ramirez, “Bring me Mejia,” who jogged out on Ramirez’s command and sat next to Manuel behind the backstop.
Manuel spoke, both men laughed; Mejia got up, smiled and jogged back to the dugout.

Jose Reyes hit a triple on the first pitch of his first at bat, during today’s intrasquad game.
He pulled in to third, clapped his hands, pointed to the sky and yelled, “Yeah”
