Original Post at 2:42 pm:

The Mets have signed RHP Kiko Calero to a minor-league deal.

…i was hoping the Mets would have signed Joe Beimel, because i feel the Mets need a second lefty to compliment Pedro Feliciano, but Calero will certainly help solidify the bullpen, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Kelvim Escobar

Last year with the Marlins, in 67 relief appearances, the 35 year old Calero was 2-2 with a 1.95 ERA with 69 strikeouts in 60 innings.
