Tomorrow, Major League Baseball will officially announce the move of the June 28-30 Mets and Marlins series from Miami to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The series will be played at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, and according to the Associated Press, the Marlins will remain the home team throughout the series.
The Marlins may remain the home team, but the Mets will have the crowd.
What I don’t like about it, is that this is only 3 1/2 months away. I was just about to book tickets to Miami – so I’m glad I saw this. I don’t see the point of it though.
