Quote: Carlos Beltran will be Stronger
In a must-read interview with Kevin Kernan of the New York Post, Carlos Beltran says he is doing more in his rehab than people think.
“I’m telling you this: when I come back, I will be stronger than ever because of the way I work every single day. You don’t work like that when you’re playing baseball.”
That said, he is not yet giving a date for when he thinks he will return.
In a report for the Daily News, Anthony McCaron quotes Beltran as saying he will have a better idea of when he can return after he starts running.
“When I start to do baseball activity, I’m not going to be far behind,” Beltran said, according to McCarron. “I want to be right there.”
