…i like the Mets offense… i do… but, when a pitcher is on, like robertson was tonight, the Mets are going to struggle, it’s that simple… he had them frozen at the plate, he mixed his pitches well, moved the ball around, and they were locked at the knees at times… i feel like i am always picking on him, but, again, Fernando Tatis looked terrible… overall, though, the team looked timid at the plate… and in the field, for that matter…

…that said, so far, the bullpen has looked very good…

…also, niese is going to be a very good pitcher… i look forward to watching his career… he’s poised, and professional, and he already seems to have an idea of what he’s doing out there, more so then some other people on his pitching staff… i liked seeing the Marlins walk back from the dugout, a bit confused by his cutter, giving a look back to the mound as they shook their heads… good stuff… and he didn’t even use his curve ball that much… he’s going to be just fine…

…it’s three games… no need to dwell… the series is over… move on, boys
