Recap: Collins Talks Ollie and Second Base

After today’s 3-2 loss to the Cardinals in Jupiter, Terry Collins spoke with reporters, and essentially said:

• Oliver Perez will get the start tomorrow and Collins says he MUST trust his stuff and not nibble when he gets into a bit of trouble.
• Collins also said that he was quite sure Perez would get at least one more start after tomorrow’s appearance.
• On Luis Castillo, Collins said that he did such a good job getting into off-season shape but now must tap into his 13 year career and “just play baseball”.
• He also said the second base competition may last into the final days of training camp.
