…certainly no shock there…On a related note, Rubin catches up with an anxious Joe Smith, who has a roster spot all but locked up.

Ed Coleman spoke with Mike and The Mad Dog a few moments ago on WFAN and explained that Duaner Sanchez has a hairline fracture and should be out at least 4 months.

The Marlins have traded former-Mets RHP Yusmeiro Petit to the D’Backs for former-Mets RHP Jorge Julio, reports the Associated Press.
