News: Mets and Lawrence Finalize Deal

According to the Associated Press, the Mets and free-agent RHP Brian Lawrence have finalized a one-year minor league contract.
Lawrence will report to extended spring training in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on route to eventually pitching for Triple-A New Orleans.
